Payments of Real Property Tax

Property Tax is required by law in The Bahamas.  The bill is due and payable once produced and must be paid by December 31 to avoid an additional 5% interest. Note: If a property is not up to date, it can be sold to recover the taxes owed.

All Property Owners.

Process

1. The Property Tax bill is usually issued in mid-October. The bill is due and payable once produced.
2. Property owners may visit any of the identified offices to pay the bill.  Payments can also be made via wire transfer.
3. Once payment is made, a receipt is issued by the office.
